If I were in president kennedy’s shoes during this time period I would’ve took the same steps that he did relating to the cuban missle crisis. I think the reason why i would do this is because Kennedy was smart about the decisions he made, he didnt want to cause a nucleour war far with Cuba or Khrushchev and the soviets and he wanted to protect not only the American people but the people of Cuba also. So nucleour warfare was not something he wanted to consider, thats why I strongly agree with what he did. If I was Mr. Kennedy I would’ve also set up the military barkade to make sure that dangerous boats were over turned, I think it was good kennedy took initiative to set up the barcades and raise the level of security so Fidel castro’s dangerous ships couldnt secretly try to attack the US. In coming to conclusion I think If I were in kennedy’s shoes I would’ve done the samething he persude. Not handeling things with violence but as peacefully as possible protecting innocent lives. as Kennedy stated, “Our goal is not the victory of might, but the vindication of right- -not peace at the expense of freedom, but both peace and freedom, here in this hemisphere, and, we hope, around the world.”

You are so dumb. What I would have done is ask the Soviet Union to bomb us. This would have given us time to have the best sex ever. This was JFK’s plan all along, and we all know he was good at pulling the puss.

I think that we should have continued our mission to the moon even after the apollo 1 disaster. I think that the disaster was just a mistake and we learn from our mistakes and that even though such a tragedy had occured the only way to move on is to move forward and it helped open our eyes to how far we can go and opend peoples eyes into space and whats out there and when people thought that they came up with new technologies to even see out into space

      – I agree and also believe that we learned from our mastake and all we did was the most we could have done in that situation.

    – The connection between the white man’s burden and the poem was that they were both talking about how to view the white man’s burden .. if its really a burden. The picture had a white man carrying an indian on his back like its a burden they cant help the people around them because they are significantly better. The poem connected to it because maybe its not the white man’s burden but there ignorance.

Kennedy and Khrushchev were able to avoid nuclear war because Kennedy was smart enough to set up some kind of border between t the US and Cuba. I actually agree with what president Kennedy did. If I were president Kennedy during this moment I would did what he did, because what was happening was a really tough decision.

all Kennedy had to do in the Cuban Missile Crisis was avoid a nuclear war and avoid a second Munich another concession that would delay war but also make it inevitable. He understood the limits of what he could afford to do, but also the extent of what he might be able to get away with doing and not get caught.I agree with what president Kennedy did and if i was in shoes i would’ve done the same.
