Globalization makes the world go round

Globalization is the moment toward a more integrated and interdependent world economy, its expedited through information technology. Two major parts of globalization is political connections and trade. This is why readers should care about globalization because it affects everyone ,since with globalization we have jobs and a lot or resources ,the world is now different we all connect with globalization.Globalization has overtaken the world, connecting the world together, and creating a better world.

Globalization benefits does outweigh the costs because it creates jobs, resources, connection, etc.Things like the economic development been affected by globalization. With the new technologies people can connect with each other ,more than they ever have before, and that means we know what’s going on everywhere ,we can save money, etc. On top of that people can trade with each other, this means that we create more jobs, but the same time save money some places when we outsource and globalization can share resources around the world, connecting each other.Theres lots of advantages to be gained with globalization.

Globalization… Is it Good that someone can find us with a click of a button ?

Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology.(dictonary.com). It has both its advantages and disadvantages. Globalizations has two major players. Technology and Job organizations. Yes they both sound great however how does it feel that someone across the world can find you or how there’s the question in mind…. Does it cost America jobs? Or is it Americans don’t want the jobs?? Globalization has more cons than pros.

Globalizations does has some good. Yes it helps us get connect it more with people. We get to talk to our family thats in other places in other countries , Or how we can know find out what’s going on in the world. Yet is that a good thing? If you can find out what people are doing from across the world what makes you think they can’t ? Just as easily you found them they can find you using the same technology you use. Technology may help bring people together however it does disconnect you from the people around you. Yes you may be talking with ur aunt in china yet you’re getting disconnect with your mom thats in the same room as you.
Also job organizations. Yes we all have heard about how in asia theres children doing our shoes or how when you call tech support it’s not exactly an “American” answering the phone. Thats why people have the questions “ Is it that Americans don’t want to do the jobs or does it cost americans ? Well the answer is that Americans would do the jobs however it coast its more to produce those things here then it does in other countries. The factories were most of the thing are produce are in Asia and its cheaper. Most of the factories are government run so yes sometimes they do have children (12-18) working in the factories but its just the in asian their government relations aren’t as high or great as they are here. In conclusion, globalizations can has pros and cons however it cons beats the pros.

Globalization is defined as the process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations. 2 major factors of globalization are transportation and the improved technology. The transportation is making global travel easier. Also, improved technology that allows us to communicate and share information around the world. Globalization isn’t vigorous for any country due to the improvements of particularly transportation and technology.
The benefits of environment outweighs globalization. According to The Encyclopedia of the Earth, natural resource scarcity and abundance are some drivers of globalization. Meaning, our lack of natural resources is affecting our globalization economically. Also, signals of environmental stress travel fast in a compressed world which is influencing problems in trade and investment.

Globilization: A World of Pros and Cons

Globilization is a way that people communicate with companies, eachother, and governments of other nations. This is used beacuse of technology updates and production issuses. Why should you care? Well the subject has its ups and downs just like everything else. Deeper into it there are things like the economy problems. For example the ones that are tied to each other than if ones fails the other will too. If there was no globilization, things like iphones wouldnt be where they are now. Although globalization has brought some overwhelming impact on most countries in terms of the enviornment, culture and politics, it also has left some benifits behind on the same aspects.

The economic development is a great benifits and is definatly worth the cost of it. When the economy gets better so do the people money wise. There are more jobs being created. International trade keeps prices low and quality high. Anytime a country in the past has tried to be self sufficient and not partake in the global markets. They find that their businesses become inefficient due to a lack of competition, prices rise. Then their products lack innovation, and they end up with hyperinflation. Globalization could help protect the environment. Some people have revealed China. The way the function could produce as more pollution as they would have like to. But today if China wants to engage in the global marketplace, the rest of their trading partners could potentially put pressure on them to clean up their act.

Globalization: Is it good or bad?

Globalization is the way that different countries interact with each other and how the whole world is connected. Globalization is the way that people trade, do business, and have political connections. This is all done through informational technology, like email or Skype or the news. One of the biggest ways that globalization can benefit the world is that the economic cooperation can lead to a political cooperation. This will happen if everyone is doing what they are suppose to do and try not to mess with the system that has been made. One of the biggest costs of globalization is that people can fear their jobs and lifestyle are at risk. Globalization is good for the managers and investors but impacts the workers and nature. The reason globalization has been successful is because of the changes that have been made to talk to other countries. One of the more earlier reasons that was a major factor in globalization is that international transport has improved. Another reason is improved technology. Globalization is a concept that has its negatives, but the benefits outweigh the costs.

Globalization has been very successful in connecting people around the world and creating economic growth. The biggest cost of globalization is that rich people get richer and poor people get poorer. That is a big cost of globalization, but globalization also promotes economic growth, creates jobs, makes companies more competitive, and lowers prices for consumers. Economic development is also a benefit of globalization. The trade has increased over the years because of more transportation opportunities. Increases in trade is good because imports can increase efficiency and reduces costs for industry. Another thing that helped development in the economy is technology. Technology has creating things like outsourcing. If there was no globalization there would be no way to be able to talk to people around the world either. Globalization has been a good thing that has kept economies stable and has also created economic growth.

For all the Samsung lovers, what would you do if you never had the option to own your beloved phone?
    Niso Ulmasova
    January 9th, 2015

Globalization is the movement toward a more integrated and interdependent world economy that is expedited through information technology. With the help of globalization, many countries have been more connected than ever. Alliances are stronger. And new things are introduced to each culture more often, for example when the Samsung was introduced to America. What major factors that caused globalization is, as stated before, informational technology and world trade. Without globalization, the belongings people own across the world would not be in existence. Every culture around the globe would be zoned out in their own little circles, nothing new would be happening at all. Globalization led people, economics, and cultures to where they are now, and will do more in the near future. Therefore it is very important that globalization stands steady.

The benefits of globalization definitely outweighs the costs. Looking at this economically, the benefits are outsourcing, where people are hired in other countries to make the products people own across the world. Some might say that this costs Americans jobs, but when thought through, would Americans actually want those jobs? And even if the people do want to work in factories, wont the prices of products go up? Also the international world trade organizations are a great benefit towards each economy around the globe. This also causes economic alliances for example the NAFTA. When looking at the costs, the only problem would be if one country fails economically , the rest of the countries that depend on them go down as well. But that would be a very rare problem, and the benefits surely outweigh the economic costs.

Is Communicating with the World bring Benefits?
    by: Christopher Hernandez
    January 9,2015

Globalization brings both benefits and some consequences, but the benefits heavily outweigh the costs, therefore I am a proponent for the idea of globalization.

Globalization is simply defined as the movement toward a more integrated and independent world economy. The two major factors in globalization is technology and International Trade Organization. we should care for globalization because it determines our relationship with other countries around the world and also brings mayor exports and imports with other countries. being proponent to globalization means that there would be more access around the world and being with peace in other countries.

The benefits of Globalization heavily outweigh the the costs, the reason because of this is of economic development. Economic development involves trade which means it increases the market and therefore our economy is tied to other countries also. Another one of the factors of Economic Development is outsourcing, outsourcing is hiring outside firms to perform non~core operations to lower operating costs. This also brings other ideas from other countries which can help us excel in our own country. This is why people are proponent for the idea for globalization.

    What is wrong with Globalization?

Globalization is not dealing with just one country it shows the impact on the whole world. Globalization is a move to get more of and independent and integrated world economy.Technology and outsourcing are the major things that have an impact on the world economy. People need to care that technology is a major part in this, because without technology countries wouldn’t be able to communicate. Without communication a lot of the stuff people have now we would not have. Outsourcing is important because it is able to lower the operating costs by preforming no-core operations. So the more outside workers people have the less money people would spend. Globalization is not good for the world because people spend so much money just to have things.

In globalization the cost weigh out the benefits only because people are paying more then what they should. If something goes wrong in the economy then it affects other countries, which people end up paying more for. To not pay more money the environment needs to get better. Without a good environment all industries could possibly collapse. If one countries fails then all the countries fail. For example the oil prices are falling and so are the gallons of oil. There is so much wrong with the environment in some countries, like a lot of pollution. People are paying more just to clean up their countries then actually producing.

    the word of globalization

Globalization is not something we can hold off or turn off it is the economic equivalent of a force of nature like wind or water. The first part of this research paper will define the major drivers of globalization and then introduce some of the basic and advanced theories of international trade and business. With this foundations it will then try to integrate theories and drivers and compare them to the actual situation and discuss if they are appropriately describing what we are seeing today.internet has served to completely eliminate the physical barrier of distance that used to exist in regards to transmission of information People from anywhere in the world communicate instantly with people anywhere else through the connection provided by the Internet. Governments have a very difficult time restricting information within their borders because the Internet doesn’t respect or acknowledge international borders. The result is information freely passing throughout the world. Certain governments fear this freedom of information and take steps to prevent it.
Economic globalization is driven ahead by the ability of international businessmen, bankers and brokers to conduct business in ways that were never possible prior to modern technology reades and investments are made instantly with little regard for international borders, time of day or distance via today’s technology In addition products that used to require shipping and therefore import and export such as books CDs and movies are now digitally distributed further leading to business globalization
People need to care about globalization because it’s an Economy thing that people should care about they need to know about what happening in the economy world so they know what to do if somthing happend.

Globalization is the interaction between people, business, and companies. Major factors that lead to globalization are improved technology and all the major banks in other countries.People should care about globalization because it keeps everybody together. When US banks suffered losses it affected all the other major banks because had bought financial derivatives from US banks and mortgage companies. Globalization is going to allow the world to work together to solve our apocalyptic environmental predicament.

    The Way

Globalization is the way that nations throughout the world are connected. They can be connected by trade, business, and political connections, all of the countries use informational technologies to communicate with each other. This communication is essential to the world moving into a more integrated and more interdependent world economy as a whole. For example the U.S. outsources to other countries, such as India, the Philippines, Russia, China, Canada, Mexico, and Ireland. 1 The U.S. outsources to these countries more than likely because we are able to save money, since these countries either don’t have a minimum wage, or if they do its lower than ours. The way that nations connect are through Economics Alliances, International Trade Organizations, and Specialization. Globalization affects everyone, in at least one way. Overall globalization is good, because it benefits many countries by allowing people to have economic alliances, and comparative advantage.

Like everything Globalization has two sides to it. It has pros which are that the Economic Alliances has benefits of allowing the economic cooperation can lead to political cooperation. It also has cons as well, which are that people fear that their jobs and overall lifestyle are at risk. They might think that they would lose their jobs, or that their families and people they know may end up getting hurt. Through comparative advantage which is a country’s ability to produce a given product at a lower opportunity cost than another country, the U.S. outsources to other countries. This allows the U.S. to save their money.

Globalization is the movement toward a more integrated and interdependent world economy. Which basically means a way that connects countries economically. So, once country’s economy is dependent on another country’s and vice-versa. This is a serious matter due to the fact that with an integrated and interdependent world economy if one country fails, then others will too. But depending on the amount of economic dependency that other countries have on another will decide if there is a problem. For example, if The United States were to fall the entire world would as a result. But if Indonesia fell then it has little impact.
Some of the major factors in globalization are International trade organizations such as the General Agreement on Tariffs and economic alliances such as the European Union and North American Free trade agreement. Globalization is a positive movement because even with the risk of certain countries failing, and having detrimental effects on others, its a very effective and efficient way to keep the “blood” running through the countries.
The the benefits outweigh the costs. Economic cooperation can lead to political cooperation. And even with people fearing that their jobs and lifestyles are at risk globalization is still efficient regardless. It will also increase economic development. This is because through globalization many countries are tied together and depend on each other. So by building that depency through trade and such economies will be more formed. For example, some countries have resources that are rare or extinct in other places. If a country was dependent on that product, they would have to buy it. Therefore the country they buy it from earns a profit of the material people are dependent on. and thats with ample countries. WHich then makes room for economic growth.

    The pro’s of globalization
Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology. Factors that have contributed to the growth of globalization includes; Democracy, growth of the internet and removal of trade barriers. my thesis would then be “globalization has helped create peace”.

With the introduction of globalization, we have come to familiarise with other nations, learn their cultures and beliefs. knowing this has helped us grow closer as nation to each other and bring peace. Globalization has helped create more means to communicate information between countries,Socially we have become more open and tolerant towards each other, and people who live in the other part of the world are not considered aliens. globalization has also helped create jobs, made companies more competitive. globalization has also helped poor countries by supplying them with technologies and have given them to develop economically. globalisation continues to gather pace in the 21st century and with technology becoming cheaper and more advanced, we can only expect the process of globalisation to propel further forward in the years to come.

is the globalization good for us
my opinion is that globalization is good for us because all of us are part of it like what your phone is phone and all the nice stuff you like are made cheap because of this is to that and its called depletion because of this but if we did not have this you would not have nice stuff to buy and we would have more jobs because of outsourcing we don’t have this lutry but we do have customer service for our stuff so if it breaks at midnight plus we have cheaper gas prices for other countries and it highers are gdp because of it oil rich countries can get a profit so they are a econ success and we can have them as an ally. but some time other countries can lower the price of oil to drive out american companies by putting lot of oil on the market
but it has some bad to it like less jobs for americans from outsourcing but i creates jobs for other countries like india where there is lot of poor because of how their government works but it is a lot easier for business to move to different countries like if i need ruber i would go to a rubber rich country and if i was a chocolate maker i would move where there is lots of cocoa beans so what is globalization you may be asking yourself?Globalization is The movement toward a more integrated econ Expedited through information technology and you may be asking yourself what is outsourcing? Hiring outside firms to perform non-core operations to lower operating costs so if you have ever got a person with a strong accent that is because it is a non core op and its cheaper for all companies to do that but not all do this but most do but they still have firms to help you in the usa but this because of globalization is really good for us if it causes all this good stuff to happen than it is a really good for us and the world because you buy and sell

Globalization, a Gamble or an Asset?

Globalization is the transition to a self-dependent, more developed country. It creates an even more economically induced world. It is caused by two important factors. They are in charge of creating agreements and bonds between nations. Globalization is caused by the technology advanced ways of communicating and sending information as well as international contracts and business deals known as outsourcing. Globalization is certainly no insignificant matter, as it has a great affect on a country’s economy as well as its relationships with other regions and countries. People shouldn’t take it so lightly since many countries rely on globalization. Globalization is a great system and asset that not only benefits countries everywhere, but builds stronger international relationships.
Globalization does indeed have its pros and cons. Many countries are too self cautious about how their homes are becoming too westernized and are thus against the idea of having anything to do with the western world. This could lead to international conflict and could even result to war (if the situation really goes that far) It’s what creates many terrorist groups, such as ISIS for example. However, It may seem that globalization sprouts up more results than conflict. Countries such as India has a fairly high unemployment rate, and Text Support grants citizens of that country with jobs and businesses, since many callers are forwarded there anyway. The U.S. has a strong relationship with China. They’re this country’s biggest trading partners, and has thus created a great economic relationship between the two nations. Globalization is not necessarily perfect, but it’s what creates better conditions and economies all around the globe.

    Connected Around The Globe

Globalization is defined as the movement toward an integrated and interdependent world economy which is expedited through information technology. Two major parts included in globalization are international trade, and economic a political connections between countries. People should care about the subject because without globalization our world would not be connected as much as it is now. Countries would not be able to help each other immediately if the time came. Globalization has created a world where communication is easy through technology.
The benefits of globalization definitely outweigh the costs. The benefits of globalization are the connections between people, cities, states, and countries no matter the distance between them. These connections help create jobs, allies, resources and many more useful tools. For example, globalization is very useful within economic development. It is useful because it helps create jobs for people wherever they are. Of course in this situation comes in the problem of outsourcing, which is when businesses hire outside firms to perform jobs that are helpful but not necessary at a lower production cost. I don’t find this as a big problem because it helps people of other countries when they can, and if these businesses did not have these positions in another country, odds are, they wouldn’t have them in their home country where it would cost more to employ people. Another reason why globalization is important and useful is because it creates interchangeable resources between countries. For example, a big thing right now is oil. Many countries trade oil and other such goods for things their country cannot come up with themselves. If we weren’t globalized and couldn’t communicate with each other, countries would have a lot of one thing but not enough of another to support their people. Globalization is a huge, beneficial part of our lives.

    Globalization In a Nutshell
    By Evan Corich
    1-9-15

Globalization is the movement toward an integrated, interdependent world economy. Information technologies- or the internet- has really led to this idea of globalization. Connecting people from all across the world. A good example is the World Bank, who operates over the internet to make transactions to countries. The establishment of the United Nations was also a big step to globalization. A place where ambassadors from every country get together and discuss what is happening in their country or a problem they have with another country. It has helped bring the countries closer and let them help each other. Everybody should care about globalization because it affects all of us. For example, if there is a problem a country has with another, they can put a sanction on that country. This affects people because they do not have to worry about war and disaster, but they do have to worry about the economic impact it would have on the country as a whole. If Russia’s economy collapses, this affects the whole world, not just Russia. Globalization is a very good thing to have in this world because it helps with economic development.
Globalization’s benefits outweigh the costs because there is a better opportunity that the economy would develop better and more efficient with globalization. “Businesses can communicate efficiently… local producers can sell their products in distant markets.” Businesses are more profitable since they can sell from outside their country, and businesses are a major part of the country’s economy. They can also outsource jobs, that makes it easier and cheaper to make their goods, creating more profit. Countries can also get help from others if they are struggling by asking for a type of loan so they do not collapse. This saves other countries from economic troubles and political troubles. Globalization makes the economy a group effort from all the countries and it works well. Without it, there would be more problems than with it.

    Globally Good Globalization
Globalization is the movement toward a more integrated and interdependent world economy. Movement, that’s probably what got us to the world of globalization that exists now. It’s pretty natural that people want to move forward and only get better at things, which is pretty obvious when looking at the way we live now. So to achieve this some economies want to be more… well global. Some economies think that it would be better for their country if they interacted internationally. This creates the argument on whether or not globalization is good or bad. People argue over this because some believe that globalization may be bad for their cultures and lifestyles. To an extent this can be true, however the benefits of globalization makes up for that.
There are plenty of benefits to globalization that can really help or improve an economy. A good example is economic development. If a countries economy is not doing very well or has never done very well, globalization can help. Look at the world bank for example, a poor country can borrow money from this if they really need to. If globalization was not a thing, chances are that country’s economy would not be doing so hot. However probably even better than The World Bank is The United Nations. The united nations is a place where every country has a seat and can talk about their concerns and opinions. This is an excellent way to prevent clashes with countries, so it will not resulting in deaths and damaged economies. Neither of these things would exist if we did not have globalization in our world. There could have been a possible third world war without The United Nations, and failed economies without The World Bank. In the end globalization has benefited many countries and will probably continue to do so.

How does globalization affect your life?
    By: Xavier Cunningham

Globalization is the movement toward a more integrated and interdependent world economy. Meaning, most of the economies of the world are starting to become more tied together as the dependency of each other’s economies grows. This has also caused different cultures to integrate. One of the biggest catalysts of globalization is information technology (facebook, e-mail, esc.). Through info-tech, people have learned, shared, and overall gained more access to other parts of the world. People take interest in things that are new to them, these trends spread, and cultures mix. Another large cause of globalization are economic alliances. For example, the European Union, and the North american free trade agreement. These are countries that agree on specific terms to in order to keep peace and help each other. Over time, these countries start to depend on eachother so much that if one fails, so does the other. These countries are tied together and help each other. Globalization affects everyday life for the citizens of many countries.

Globalization has many costs and benefits, but it is overall good for our culture and economy. The americans, we are already very integrated with many other cultures. People from other countries have been coming here since the country was founded. We are a mix of the whole world. So in a way, globalization is a very big part of american culture. America’s economy is also dependant on many things that we get from other countries. Oil, cars, food, and even chocolate. We have many international trade organizations and economic alliances that help each country and they prevent wars. Without globalization, the whole world would fill with war and pollution from an absence of understanding and rules.

Globalization is what makes the world work, it’s a necessity to some countries, keeping them afloat. The trading of products, the exporting and importing of goods, and technology ties between all countries may be explained as globalization. Two of the major factors that have led to globalization can be known as evolution as well as the need to communicate and trade. Countries are developing day by day, their citizens need to eat, electricity is a necessity, and some might say entertainment is, too. The more a place develops, the more it needs. So, countries have reached out to others outside of their boundaries to help them live as a whole, more comfortably. Therefore, countries give what they have an abundance of, and import what they don’t have. Not only have countries tied together to fill each other’s needs by importing or exporting goods, but have enhanced their relationships by using technology. With technology, it can be easy to get information or to another person from across the whole world in a matter of seconds. With this advancement between countries, globalization occurs. Globalization is what keeps a population alive, cultures thriving, and citizens in a comfortable place-which is why it’s an important concept to care about.
Globalization’s benefits outweigh the costs. Some benefits include, but are not limited to: political cooperation and lower costs. Economic development standing alone outweighs the cost of globalization. Countries involved in globalization have more development than some others. Employees may come from other countries, outsourcing their business; bringing business and some money to the cooperating States. Not only that, but globalization brings jobs to even more places. The comparative advantage allows for certain jobs to produce certain products; resulting in higher profits–economic development. Outsourcing and comparative advantage is controversial because of its success and failure, but the two overall promote economic development. Economic development is one of the benefits of globalization-the movement toward a more integrated and interdependent world economy.

Globalization is an interaction with people, companies, and governments of different nations and a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology.
There are two major factors that led to globalization. One major factor is by improved transport, making global travel easier. Secondly, From 1970, there was a rapid adoption of the steel transport container. This reduced the costs of intermodal transport making trade cheaper and more efficient. These two major factors are to be cared about because globalization made it easier for people and their money. If globalization wasn’t here everything would cost more than it does now. Although, people think Globalization is not useful, it helps the environment and the economic environment.

Globalization increases economic growth and generates a wider range of products and services, so yes the benefits outweigh the costs. Environment is the totality of inflation, employment, income, interest rates, productivity, and wealth that influence the buying behavior of consumers and institutions. Economic Environment supported liberalism and free trade. It also supported global democracy and global civics. Globalization outweighs the bad. In addition, many developing countries do not have stringent rules about environmental protection. Many developing countries need new industries and the jobs these industries bring to improve their economies through globalization.

Has globalization helped us or destroy us?

Globalization is the interaction with other people and companies globally, it’s what connects the world. Trade and improved technology are two factors that led up to globalization. Trading has helped reduce tariff barriers and growth of global trading. Technology improved which makes it easier to communicate and share information around the world. Also it can find people in other countries to give them jobs and pay cheaply because labor jobs are lower in other countries. This helps the countries economy and have countries rely on each other which makes it less likely to get in wars. Globalization has helped in many different ways and is very useful to the economy.
The benefits of globalization does not outweigh the cost, yes we had had environmental problems but without it we have not progressed so much in so little time. Improved technology has had increase the interdependence of companies and countries. Without globalization many companies would most likely have been controlled by the government and would not make as much profit as they make, which helps the economy. Free trading has improved and it has helped with increase of jobs thanks to the exports that that country makes. Exports helps by having jobs for the citizens and having higher paying jobs as well. It helps the company by expanding the variety of products to sell by business and the consumers. It also helps increase the country’s GDP. Globalization has helped countries be known and take part of the world. it has had rapid economic growth and have given more jobs for people.

Globalization is the movement toward the integrated and independent world economy, it is expedited through information technology. It is also the interaction in between different economies, companies, countries, and nations. Globalization has two major factors, they are technology and international trading and buying. These are both great things, however they cs also be bad, globalization is uses these factors to interact with others. Technology is a big part of it because that’s how we can communicate from the US to Mexico, China, etc. This means that whatever the US has to talk to other countries about it can be done with technology, a call or an email. The people are also involved because the only way we know about something is when it is passed on television, a text message, a call, and email, it is the way interact with each other. Communicating with each other is the way we know what is going on in the world and in places near us, we can do this with a click of a button, but is that always a good thing? Trading and buying is also a big part because that is also how we can communicate and interact with each other other than a text message. From one country to another we are able to send what other ask for, on a boat or on a plane. Trading and buying things from other countries also allows us to be alert of activity in the other country, company, person etc.

Globalization does have pros and cons, just as we can click a simple button to give good news, of congratulate someone, it can also be the start of something that will affect the people, the environment, other countries, etc. For some economies globalization is a good thing because they can stay alert about anything that’s going on, but some other countries globalization is not the the best idea because things such as technology costs more money, leading some economies into deep trouble, but they also cause economic growth. When an economy or country sees growth, they are able to expand what they already have.

    Globalization

Globalization is the movement toward a more integrated and interdependent world economy. “The world economy has become increasingly interdependent for a long time. However, in recent decades the process of globalisation has accelerated; this is due to a variety of factors, but important ones include improved trade, increased labour and capital mobility and improved technology”. This is a great reason why someone should care about the subject because there are variety of factories now, improved trade, increased labour, capital mobility, and improved technology. Globalization is the reason why our country is successful, we would have any of these thing we have today if it wasn’t for globalization, like food, clothes, technology etc.

The benefit of globalization outweighs the cost. “Northern countries want to open world markets to their goods and take advantage of abundant, cheap labor in the South, policies often supported by Southern elites. They use international financial institutions and regional trade agreements to compel poor countries to “integrate” by reducing tariffs, privatizing state enterprises, and relaxing environmental and labor standards. The results have enlarged profits for investors but offered pittances to laborers, provoking a strong backlash from civil society”.While helping other countries they can get profit while helping. So think about globalization is what runs this world, so for the people who are against it really need to think about why they are against it. Globalization helps adults get money, and kids have electronics. So clearly I am a proponent to globalization.

    Life Problems
Globalization is how countries are connected to each other by an economic standpoint. They aren’t really combined unless they border each other, but most countries are connected to countries because they have a large trade going on between them that keeps their economy running. Globalization is basically when countries depend on one another to have a stable economy because they are so deeply intertwined that if one country is having problems it will have the butterfly effect and cause problems for the other countries. There are even a very few countries that are big enough that would practically destroy the rest of the worlds economies. This all started after WWII to hopefully prevent WWIII from happening because if you are affected by what happens to everyone else then you won’t take the chance of messing up your own economy. Which kind of sucks for people like use because someone halfway across the world could do something dumb and childish and it could affect use. For example someone in china could decide that they are going to take a vacation and stop making car parts which is going to have a ripple effect and most likely raise prices for that part and cars in general because car manufacturers would have to pay more to get what they need and inter will need to make a high profit so everyday citizens like use will now have to pay more for purchasing cars which are already expensive. Which is why globalization is such an important thing because it doesn’t just affect governments it can also affect everyday people that have nothing to do with the government.
Even though globalization has a few nasty side effects overall it is a very helpful tool that is used by every single country in the world. This helps the economy keep running without collapsing. A great example of how helpful Globalization can be is around 2008 when the U.S.’s economy fell drastically it made everyone else fall with them. But everyone would eventually recover except Italy who wasn’t going to make it and tried to hide the fact that they were going to collapse. But because of globalization Germany stepped in and basically bailed Italy out of their struggle. The only reason Germany interveined at all was because if Italy would have fallen it would have affected the surrounding countries and they had already fallen thanks to the united States.

Globalization is the tendency of businesses, technologies, or philosophies to spread throughout the world, or the process of making this happen.Globalization keeps the world spinning basically, because a part of globalization is communication. Part of communication is the internet and cellphones. So how are we going to talk to people from overseas ? We can’t … that would drop our economies. It would do this because we would really make money. We wont be able to buy or make trades with other countries. So you should care about globalization or no more twitter or foriegn products. I am a proponent of globalization because it works and it brings the world closer together.

  28. Eleanor Votodian January 9, 2015 at 6:36 PM #

Globalization, what is it? Well, globalization is the movement towards a more integrated and interdependent world economy, which is expedited through information technology. A more straightforward definition of globalization is the connection between countries, dealing with international trade, international businesses, the political connection between countries, and the informational technology connection between countries.
Although globalization is engaged towards a more integrated and interdependent world economy, millions of people fear that their jobs and lifestyle are at risk. Many businesses are outsourcing, or hiring outside firms to perform non-core operations to lower operating costs. Despite the fact that this seems like an exceptional idea because it would mean more product are produced for that one company or business, is it really that incredible? Do companies ever think that they could produce more American jobs, causing our unemployment rate to go down, which in turn causes our economy to flourish, just by simply having Americans to produce the product that they hire outside firms to produce for them? On the other hand, outsourcing is used because it lowers operating costs. Although others would say that outsourcing is taking away American jobs, but have they thought in depth that, if we have Americans produce the products, it may raise the price of that product because it is more expensive for companies to produce non-core products in the United States then if the send it off to somewhere like Korea, Taiwan, or China. Not many people realize it, but globalization does have consequences, such as specialization, division of labor, and comparative advantage. In my view, globalization is risky but it is a benefit to the world.

    Globalization: We’re connected

Globalization has made a good impact in the way we communicate. It’s the way different countries around the world communicate for business, trades, and other political issues. But it is also the fact that we export goods and get imports from other countries. It’s good that we have globalization because most of the supplies that we have are made in different countries. If we were to make the things that are made in other countries we would be paying double the price. It has been extremely helpful that other countries make things for us because we make a profit and have less economic problems. We are all connected in some sort of way in this world so globalization is very important at this time. We have been able to keep our country stable.
The idea of globalization has really improved in the way we see things. With the latest updates on technologies. But not all countries have these. Our world has changed since we laid hands on these technologies you can learn about cultures you have never learned before. All these phones, laptops and ipods are big money makers. Every year we are coming up with different ideas for example new clothes, phones, etc. Meaning there’ll be more jobs for other people in countries where they make them. The people there get a job and make money, but then so does the store, or company that sells these things. Selling things, buying stocks and having some sort of business online helps our economy. Therefore our economy doesn’t fall and unemployment rate doesn’t go too high.

Globalization is the way people and nations around the world are connected. They can be connected because they have a political and business relationships using informational technology to communicate with each other and provide informations to one another. These communications as a whole can create a more integrated and more interdependent world. Outsourcing and technology are the two major factors that has led to globalization. Outsourcing is when a nation hires an outside firm to perform non core operations to lower operation costs. The US has been outsourcing jobs to places like China which cost less money to operate and make things for the US. This helps the US gets stuff for cheaper and less expensive. You’re entertainment could cost more because the US didn’t outsource jobs. Technology is also a major part of the idea of globalization. Nations can communicate more easier and efficiently. These communications as a whole can create a more integrated and more interdependent world. Overall Globalization as a whole is a good thing because everyone benefits from it also making a better and integrated world for everyone.

Like most things in life Globalization has a good and bad side to it. The pros are that it the
Economic Alliances has benefits of allowing the economic cooperation to lead to political cooperation. The cons which are that people fear that their jobs and overall lifestyle are at risk. The people may be afraid of losing their jobs and cause their family to struggle. This advantage cause things to be produce a given product at a lower cost saving the US more money.

    Globalization Evaluation
    Taylor Brown

Globalization is officially defined as a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations. A process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology. Two things that lead to globalization are the need for communication and trade between countries. Technology also played a part in making globalization easier. The device you are look at this on? Probably has parts that were made in countries around the world. Which still might have been possible to make in one country but it would be less cost effective meaning that it would cost so much more. Globalization is obviously a benefit to people all around the world.
Of course everything comes with a price unfortunately globalization’s price is that all of the cultures are gravitating towards each other and further away from tradition. One gain from having globalization are that it plays a major role in economic development. Most countries around the world have economies that are tied very closely to each other. So we all bring in different things that benefit not only our own economy or country but other ones too. Outsourcing brings down the cost of many goods and materials we use and need today.

Globalization the worlds way of being connected.
Globalization is the interaction of different cultures, and religious beliefs. Two main factors of globalization is the distribution of goods and services, and the use of technology.Take McDonald’s as an example. the industry creates jobs all over the world by outsourcing itself to less developed places. It creates jobs for countries who need them, and it connects cultures who share similar food choices. We need globalization because it helps us adapt to the fast changing world that is greatly influenced by technology. We use to communicate across sea, research other cultures and better understand them. Technology is what provides us with information on what is happening on our planet. It lets different diversities become less diverse.

Further more globalization is a good thing because it strengthens our economy. When were able to trade it allows us to make more money from the goods we export and import. Being able to trade resources like oil boosts countries economic GDP by bringing more money in. With money governments and people are able to create jobs, provide services to people, by feeding and nurturing them. It creates a economic stability.Without it countries are forced to rely on the resources that are given to them, which is not much for smaller countries. So by being able to distribute essential resources we create a bond that can only be achieved by globalization.

    Globalization for Dummies

Globalization is (literally) a worldwide term used to describe the process in which technology and business are connected amply around the globe. Overtime, the economy has been growing increasingly, as this is great for citizens. The growing economy has two main factors that contributed to globalization; improved trades between countries and the continuous development of today’s technology. How does this relate to the everyday person? Globalization is another word for helping the world connect- through computers, cell phones, the internet, and media. This tremendous phenomena is supporting the people of this Earth, therefore, connecting, is helping.

With the improved trades and development of today’s technology, the benefits of globalization outweigh the costs. One contribution to the world that globalization supports, is the environment. The surge of percentage in water and air quality are thriving because of the with the help of growing technology. Pollution will continue to deteriorate in water and air, with the repetitive and growing support of the world being more connected. More efficient cars and boats is a great example how the world is growing with globalization- making new and up to date ideas. Connecting is helping.

Gus Todey How Globalization change the world

Globalization is described as a increase movement of people, knowledge, ideas, goods, and money shared around the nations borders, this has also lead us to interconnections among the world economically and politically. The two major factor that lead to globalization is technology updated and productions of product. Globalization is very important because it shows how the world can grow together, it also changes the world because if one thing gets affected another will. So I think Globalization is good because it bans the world together as one.

It all depends what you consider a benefit. What I considered a benefit is Globalization increases economic growth and generates a wider range of products and services and keeps us connected and that’s a big benefit. I don’t see it over weighting the cost because were getting more money back by just doing it. Economic development is a big part of Globalization. Globalization is like a chain if one economy fall the other ones will feel it too because each economy is tied with each other. They are all dependent of each other. Globalization can also make every economic better because of GDP the more product each country makes and sent out the higher their GDP and the better their economy.

    Globalization’s world domination

Globalization is the movement toward a better integrated and interdependent world economy, expedited through information technology. It’s a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of other countries. Major factors that have led to globalization are improved technology and the global trade cycle. Having improved technology made it easier to share and communicate things around the world. The global trade cycle has a major impact because it helps with economic growth because everyone is trading goods all around the world with each other. This is a very important subject because everyone takes advantage of all the resources that are available to us because of globalization.
Globalization benefits all comes with a cost. Outsourcing is a cost that comes with globalization. Companies have to outsource in order to make certain goods and services available. Outsourcing is hiring companies and firms outside of the country to perform non-core operations to lower the operating cost. People see it as taking away from American jobs but who’s to say that the job will even be available to Americans. Resources that are available to the environment might not be available without globalization. For example the heat at school. We would would notn’t be able to have heat in public schools without globalization. Globalization does more for us than we realize.

  36. Hannah Majid 1/9/15 January 10, 2015 at 5:21 AM #

Globalization is defined as the act of development of an increasingly integrated global economy marked especially by free trade, free flow of capital, and the tapping of cheaper foreign labor markets. Two factors of globalization is global trading growth and growth in global media. Global trading reduced national barriers and flow to the main elements of integration. Global trading can take many forms including, tariffs and import/export licences. The growth in global media isn’t affecting globalization positively due to them providing media and marketing services for equity instead of cash. Globalization is negligent to any economy.
The benefits of culture outweighs globalization because of it’s misrepresentation, stereotyping and risk of loss cultural and intellectual property. Another reason culture outweighs globalization is its loss of individualism and group identity occuring when globalization encourages ‘Western ideal of individualism.
